About us

EduGo is a volunteer initiative that partners with Asia’s Hope to purchase bicycles and motos for orphaned children in Southeast Asia–to help them fulfill their dream of earning an education.

EduGo

EduGo has chosen to partner with Asia's Hope to fill a need: provide safe, reliable transportation for children to get to school and give them the push they need to keep their wheels turning.

After visiting some of the family homes in Cambodia in 2012 and then again with his family in 2013,  Jeremy Slagle recognized the importance of bicycles and motos to the people of Southeast Asia and what an impact providing these tools can have to a child as he or she seeks to complete their education.

That's how EduGo was born.

EduGo partners with Asia's Hope on an on-going basis to provide bicycles for the orphaned children in their care to safely travel to and from school. Since the bikes are purchased and assembled locally, we are supporting their local economy at the same time. Any leftover funds after the bicycles are paid for go directly into the Asia's Hope scholarship fund – providing tuition for the same children when they reach college age.

Asia’s Hope

Asia's Hope is a multi-denominational, grassroots movement working in Cambodia, Thailand and India to provide quality long-term care for orphaned children at high risk of sexual and economic exploitation.

Each child living at an Asia’s Hope orphan home receives all the benefits of a loving family: shelter, acceptance, medical care, an education, life skills training and most importantly, the transforming power of hope.

We partner with individuals, businesses, churches and community organizations to fund orphan homes and other services geared towards meeting the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs of the children in our care.

We have promised to provide each child a high quality primary and secondary education, and to help each child transition into adulthood. Some of our children will benefit from a college education, others from vocational training. This is not a promise that we take lightly and we are working hard to raise funds and develop programs that will enable us to give each of our children the tools they need to succeed in their culture as adults.

EduGo works because generous volunteers
give their time, energy, money and skills.

As a 100% volunteer organization, EduGo's success is built by people just like you —
people committed to being the change they want to see in the world.

Asia’s Hope

Asia’s Hope has been rescuing orphaned children from the streets of Cambodia, Thailand and India since 2001. As of 2013 they operate 29 family-style children's homes serving more than 700 kids who were once homeless, abused, exploited or abandoned. Asia's Hope offers these children all the benefits of a real family: loving parents and support staff, high-quality homes, medical care and education.

EduGo partners with this amazing organization to provide the bikes needed to help the children ride to their local school and the motos for the college students to ride to the city — allowing these kids to not only change their own destiny but to impact their community at large.
