I am putting kids on the Road to Success.
Please join me by supporting my participation in the Road to Success Ride.
For orphaned children at high risk for economic and sexual exploitation, well-built, reliable transportation to school can mean the difference between a lifetime of grinding poverty and a bright, successful future.
In some areas of Southeast Asia, only 20% of children complete eighth grade. Orphaned children are even less likely to enter high school. Without an education, many are trafficked to work in factories, fields and brothels.
EduGo is a 100% volunteer initiative that partners with Asia’s Hope to provide bicycles and motor scooters to orphaned children in Cambodia, Thailand and India. The bikes provided by this event transform kids’ lives by allowing them to get the education they need to break the cycle of poverty. And for college-aged kids, contributions to the Asia’s Hope scholarship fund help them gain the skills and training they need to become productive, self-sufficient adult members of their society.
I am participating in the 2017 The Road to Success Ride, a family-friendly cycling event that allows me to join riders of all ages and share my love of bikes with the children living in Asia’s Hope homes. Please consider using the button at the right to make a donation and support these kids. After you select your amount and click "Donate," you can choose my name from the list to sponsor my ride.
Or better yet, dust off your own bike and join me for a 10, 20, 40 or 62-mile ride, or lace up your shoes for a 3-mile walk! For more information about the event and to register, click here:
